Projects

Daily SIP in Mutual Funds (Paytm, PSPL)

The Daily SIP project at Paytm was a user-centered design initiative focused on simplifying mutual fund investments for a wide range of users. I drove the design to create a product with low entry barriers, starting at ₹21, and streamlined the onboarding process. We conducted user research, A/B testing, and collaborated closely with product and growth teams to refine key features like the landing page, autopay setup, and post-investment experience, ensuring the product was intuitive and engaging. Additionally, I integrated User Acceptance Testing (UAT) into the design process to ensure the highest quality execution at every stage.

Data played a crucial role in optimizing the design. By analyzing user feedback and funnel data, we continuously improved the product, addressing pain points like SIP cancellations and confusion over skip days. Through regular A/B tests and design iterations, we increased conversion rates and enhanced user satisfaction. The result was a seamless, user-friendly investment experience that successfully met the diverse needs of our users.

Mutual Funds Report (Paytm, PSPL)

The Mutual Fund Report on Paytm provided users with a clear overview of their investments, especially for those managing portfolios across platforms. To simplify new and complex data, the design emphasized user education, offering insights like total portfolio value, comparisons with popular indexes, risk exposure, and details of categories and companies where funds were invested. Benchmarking against leading investing apps ensured the best user experience. Despite a small team, the initial version prioritized key features to engage users. Later, an advanced version of the Mutual Fund Report was developed as part of a larger revamp when I moved to Paytm Money and worked on the Mutual Fund product, offering richer insights and enhanced functionality to users.
